Last week, Friends of the Earth launched “What Are They Planning?”, their campaign for reform of the Northern Ireland planning system.
We created the campaign branding (slogan and design) using images by the talented local photographer Darren McLoughlin, and very well they looked on FoE’s pop-up banners in the Long Gallery of Stormont.
What’s this – another website by Soapbox?
Of course it is. This time it’s the new Policy Exchange site.
We’d be interested to hear what you think.
We’re a bit proud of the data app we’ve built for the Centre for Cities’ report Cities Outlook 2012.
You can find the full report here – we also designed infographics used to illustrate key points in some of the chapters.
The app is still in beta – we’ll be adding more functionality shortly and hope to produce a more sophisticated version later in the year.
Smiling Victorians - It’s hard to hold a smile for a long time, so exposure times in early photography mean we tend to view the Victorian as more stern than perhaps they really were. I love how the change of facial expression immediately makes then seem more contemporary and real.
Check out our website for British Future - Sunder Katwala’s new thinktank dealing with issues of identity, migration, integration and opportunity.
And here’s last year’s card again in case you have forgotten.
Merry Christmas to Soapbox clients present and future.
